For thoes who want an Shelby Cobra...

But want it in a more modern package, like a Solstice or Sky, and using GM parts, like an LS2... Enter Mallet Performance

BEREA, Ohio — Mallett Cars says it will offer a limited-production run of the Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Sky with V8 engines.

The company, an Ohio conversion firm that specializes in high-performance versions of the Chevrolet Corvette and Cadillac CTS-V, is customizing the roadsters with the LS2 V8, the most powerful standard small-block engine ever offered in the Corvette. The 6.0-liter V8 makes 400 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque.

shoret wheel base, light weight, and more power than is called for. BRILLIANT!!!
i would jsut wonder if it woudl upset the balance of teh car. the 4banger is set fairly far back in them and is a very small package.

Now if only GM hadn't had quality issues they may have been out this summer instead of October/November.

The Solstice with an LS2 will be fast as hell in a straight line, but the balance will be completely thrown off for other applications.
