For Sale: 1992 Jeep cherokee sport 4d, 4x4
1992 jeep cherokee sport, 4door, 4x4, 4.0 inline 6. i'm selling it for my neighbor. It has 196K miles. the body has a few rust spots, some missing clear on the hood and roof. Some issues with the car that I was told are as follows...the speedometer doesn't work in cold weather..it will work once the car is warmed up, leaking oil from the valve cover (just the gasket), it has a new radiator..but during really hot days when the AC is on and you're in traffic the temp will raise up, and once and a while it won't start in park, you have to put the shifter in N..which to me sounds like its simply just the nuetral safety switch. It's a great daily driver, especially for the winter with the 4x4. I was going to buy it when he was ready to get a new one..but I now have the T-bird. Based on other prices for these..with its mileage..my neighbor was asking $1100 obo Â*I also have pics, but I encourage anyone interested to come take a look at it and even a test drive if you're serious about it.

sounds like a steal. the 4.0 will last a VERY long time as long as you take care of it. Too bad I already have a cherokee, otherwise I'd be all over this one. j0n, you should get it, then we can start "team jeep racing"

lol I had a 92 and had those SAME EXACT problems. God I miss that thing. I would take it back in a heartbeat. Those things are good at burnouts/donuts if its the 4.0HO...but I wouldnt know personally

Possibly three...im thinking about getting one and selling the Z. 4 door 4.0HO with a manual. If this car was a manual trans i would really be considering it right now, but I already had an auto and would rather the stick. GL selling it TTT for ya

ooo ooo, can i join?! my 94 is a lil bit of a **** box right now, needs a new windshield, new shocks and some body work on the pass side, but we can roll FOUR deep to the trucks... in the snow when there's no other f bodies, we can still be standing out there freezing our arses off!
