I agree with jim that our state is the most corrupt in the nation. independent contractors, owners of car dealerships, medium sized business owners and anyone else who falls in that upper economic class all fund one candidate or another. Why? so that when they want to do something, the local government will turn their heads.
Politics in general really piss me off. Everyone who is a popular candidate is a cheat and a liar, no questions about it. It kinda makes you sick when you think that this counrty is so young and in such a short time went from being the land of the free where the people rule the government to this poor excuse of democracy. Thats why I voted today.

There is no excuse to not vote. If you don't you're an idiot and deserve to get your world rocked through some political influence. I know my vote was counted and I know THEY know how I voted... that's enough of a reason even if my guy didn't win.

i figure no matter who's in charge some one wont be happy so they might as well be pissed and be able to smoke some pot, then be pissed and have nothing to do except bitch. i voted for Edward Forchion.

Vote democrat = raise property taxes. Ask me how I know, Ewing has been democrats for as long as I have lived here and they have raised property taxes every year and voted themselves raises every year. Oh well, at least I voted.

I voted, and although my candidate didn't win, I hope Corzine is going to do what he says. I'm just not that optimistic, because he was apart of an already corrupt state government and nothing changed. Oh well, we'll just have to wait and see...
