Yeah, I figured you could get tires cheap at the store. I had the Falken's on the 68 in 245/50/16 and 255/50/16 and they were awesome on that car. I didn't put enough miles on them to know how good the treadwear was but the handling was great, especially on a 68 with no suspension mods! I know you're trying to keep it low $$$ but 16's make a huge difference over 15's for handling. Obviously the 17's are much better than the 16's but the prices really start going up at that point. I'll ask around on some of the other Camaro boards for 15x8 rallys.

Im scared to go 17's on a near stock suspension. Its not stock stock, but the springs and everything are near stock or at stock spec, as well as the brakes and such. Id like to go 17's, but dont know yet. I think I just want a classic look without spending too much on it. I really need to get tires for it though if I want to drive it.

Here's a pair of AR 200S wheels here in NJ. These look good on most 1st and 2nd gen Camaros. I would paint the centers gray or silver though.
