v6 guys with exhaust

Im currently looking into buyin a new catback exhaust system through exhaustguys on the board, but was wondering with a v6 do you guys recommend going with the 2.5 or 3 in tubing. I know that a slight amount of moding is necessary for the 3" while the 2.5 should be a direct bolt in. Just looking for what you guys personal opinion is in this situation

And also, ill be lookin to install it/ have it installed shortly after christmas. Im pretty comfortable with my tools and was wondering if this is something i could do myself, or should i just pay to have it done.

Well keep this in mind - 12secondv6, Little g, and myself all run 3" catbacks

I paid to get mine installed because I didn't know jack at the time. I beieve Little g's was installed in one of the NJSPEEDER's driveway, so it is doable, just takes some customization.

You going with Magnaflow?

3 inch cat back.

I used to run edlebrock and was VERY happy with it.

I picked up slp loudmouth for a 20 pound reduction in weight.

Meinekee installed mine

If you get edlebrock.... make sure the shop makes you a 3 inch S pipe

It shouldn't be to costly to have it installed. They did a good job with my "cat". Definitely go with the 3".

Make sure they line up the tips correctly. The person who did Craig's must have lined them up using the supports behind the bumper instead of eyeballing them from behind the car, so they are offset to the left.

Defenitly when you take it to any shop first thing you should look at is the exhaust tips when its done. Even when I had mine done, one side came out crooked. And for some reason one still looks alittle funny.
