				Wiring a pre-lit wreath

anyone know what i'll need to install a pre-lit wreath onto the front of my saturn? it has a normal outlet and i figured i could just cut off the oulet and wire it into the fuse box. would i need a inline fuse for it as well. can i just throw it right onto the battery and ground the other wire? i thought of a power inverter but i dont know how to wire through the firewall on the saturn and thats too big of a headache. i also dont wanna light the damn thing on fire. thanks

Well, those lights are meant to run off 120 volts. Putting 12v through them ain't gonna cut it.
You could mount the inverter under the hood if there's enough room and power it directly off the battery, or find 12v lights and rewire your wreath. Good luck!

um yeah...120v AC is ALOT different from 12v DC, you MUST use a power invertor if you wanna use it. Get battery operated lights and a regualr wreath. thats what im doing. i have the lights but cant fidn the right size wreath.
