Just saw an accident.
i was on my way up RT579 headed toward ringoes. just taking a little cruise and wanted to see what cool stuff classic act auto has for sale this week.
as i came through titusville i saw a green accord round the corner and touch off the inside of the road coming around the corner. road has a slight lip and a soft shoulder, pitched the car sideways on her. she chased and lost.
hit the ditch and stuff on the other side of the road and rolled the car onto it's side.
i slammed on the brakes and ran(as much as a tubby 31 year old can run) back to see if she was ok. she was cool, a little freaked obviously. a doctor rolled up and talked to her until the cops got there.
not a mark on her, car is done though. she was more shook up than anything.
figure she was doing about 50mph like everyone else does on that road, so it must have been an exciting ride.
so now the hopewell police have my name.....again  at least this time it isn't for something i did, and thankfully i didn't recognize the cop, or more like he didn't recognize me

it was wild. i saw her coming and i was the last car to get through, she crossed over the center line right behind me.
it is a narrow as road, so i had no place to bail out. i just gassed it until i was right on teh back bumper of the person ahead of me and she missed.

Was she young and pretty tall? If so, it could be my cousin's daughter. I was at my parents on 579 when the cops and ambulance went by.

she was about as tall as me and yes, rather pretty. said she was on her way to philly to pick up her boyfriend or something like that.
a bunch of us pulled over to make sure she was ok.
knowing that another honda has left this world doesn't bother me, but i was afraid for the driver when it happened. i saw the car go over in my rear view and it was weird, almost sureal to see in real life.

Well just for the record my "its good since a honda died" comment was made after I read the story and knew that she was safe

Nope, my cousin's daughter is a good 6-8" taller than you or me Tim. And I don't think she has any boyfriend in Philly. But she does drive her mom's old green Honda Accord and they live on 579 so quite a coincidence.
