i love the world of warez!! Any program......how do you say it "FREE $0"
http://www.phazeddl.com/
Search There for these files...And believe it or not "NO VIRUSES"

I'd download "Alcohol 120%" it's the most popular download on "download.com"
For something easier download "NO1 DVD Ripper"

If you wanna rip DVDs, DVDShrink is one of the best proggys out there. I use it almost daily.

BTW, it sounds like you want to capture (camcorder to computer) not rip (burn dvds)

The camera uses dvds? You can't just pop them into the dvd drive? (I have no idea what format they burn to in the camcorder). But if it is the standard video_ts setup, just drag & drop via windows explorer.

Ok, so you want an editor, not a ripper (burner)? I'll say it again, poke around videohelp.com

If you want to burn/backup, just drag them onto the harddrive and burn them with Nero or whatever. Or if you have a burner & a dvd rom, jsut disc copy.
