need opinions on a s10 project for the gf

she has just acquired a 89 s10 4.3 v6 s10 2wd truck with auto
i used ot own this exact truck and she bought it off of the guy i sold it too. shortly before i sold it i did edelbrock headers, cat back exhaust and ignition on it. since he has owned it he has only put 2000 miles on it if that.
so do i put a v8 in it for her like everyone else wants or hop up the v6? if i hopped up the v6 i would do an edelbrock intake, ultimate tbi mods, open element air cleaner, roller rockers, a 100 shot of nitrous and a 4.10 posi rear. i figure the truck woudl move around good for that. basically she just wants a cruiser to take to cruise nights that awesome looking (which she already has the paint scheme in her head already). let me know your thoughts

If she's not looking for all out speed, then your plans sound pretty good. A modded 4.3 is prolly much more rare than 350 swap.
