I put on my fuzzy slippers....

to go check out the car in the parking lot of the bar across the street. Only I would really do this. I heard it pull up, and looked out the window to see what it was. I had no idea. So I'm standing at the car, and it is a Lotus Elise. I came back to my computer to check out the specs. Not impressed by the looks of the car. It's SOOOOO tiny. It has a 1.8L 4-cylinder engine and produces a max of 190 hp @7800rpm. So that might be a lot for that little engine, I hate little engines! If you go to the homepage of www.lotuscars.com, thats the car parked across the street. UGH, I liked the C6 MUCH better that was parked there the other day.

...And I don't care how extreme the body style is, I could totally get used to it. *drool* 1.8 liters of fury, and it's mid engine. It's like a lighter, sexier, faster version of the Fiero. Sweeeeeet.

The Lotus is cool, but I'd rather take a Fiero, get a V8 Archie kit and swap in a hottie small block, then go and RULE DA WORLD!!!

Yes the little lotus would own me. But now that someone mentioned the Go Kart reference, it's like a Go-Kart on speed. I'm sure it would be one fun ride, but I'll stick to my big engines and big cars. Just my preference!
And it is sometimes creepy going out late at night in your pj's here, so many drunks walking around that will hit on anything with 2 legs!

I thought squan was nice? When I go surf down there seem like a nice place to raise a kid or something.

I don't like how the lotus looks; it looks way to much like a bug. Fast but ugly. You could say is comparable to a regular go-kart frame with a 650cc motorcycle engine

No, the '88s had a front suspension setup derived from the vette. Rear suspension was still standard GM FWD fare with minor mods.

It's a beautiful area. Then the summer comes and there is beer pong(Yes, we think "SWEET!", but not to raise kids around!) on every front porch once you cross the bridges towards the beach. In the winter its very calm and peaceful except for the drunks that go to the Leggets. It's kind of aggrivating if I have to get up early on a Saturday or Sunday and I'm getting woken up by drunks leaving the bar at 2am. Although I have seen some hilarious things!

I saw a mid 90's lotus at the gas station tonight. Did a HUGE burnout when he left!
