Also, the Redline model with manual gets better gas milage then the standard model, despite the near 90hp gap.

i would say that is a perfectly reasonable, if not a bit of a soft number to claim. think about it, 90-92 L98 powered f-bodies run low 14's with only a 245hp rating, LT1 cars ran in the 13.7's-.8's with a 275hp rating. and both of those are examples of cars that weighed much more than the 260hp sky/solstice.

i usually like to see what one does in person at the track in the hands of a typical driver, but i don't see that as an outrageous claim.

 | trap speed is high for that time. 13.5 seems attainable with boltons and better tires

There is still a lot left in this motor. In that copper Solstice, it uses the same engine, only the PCM is played with to dial in 325hp. This car not only packs a good 260hp, but also 260ftlbs of torque. The GY Eagle F1's on it are pretty sticky performance tires, but I belive that the suspension is more tuned for better handling then drag racing. Larger sways and revised spring/shock combo should make this puppy drive on rails.

i ran 13.7-13.8@99-100mph with my 94 formula with 2.0 60's so a 2.10 60' which is respectable for most cars would put it in the 13.9-14.0 range so the traps look perfectly reasonable to me. Id hit it.

That's like comparing a Geo Metro to a Hon-duh Accord. Two totally different class of cars. You can't compare the two.
