watta u guys think about those new VW Low Ego Emisions comercials? personaly i think there VERY and make the owners or anyone interested in a passat look like complete tools.....

it's the commercial that the couple is driving around and anyone in any other type of car is yellign **** through a bull horn. it is a pretty stupid line of commercials and proves taht VW currently has nothing at all to say about their products, prolly because they finished dead last in initial customer satisfaction......again!

wolkswagen = JUNK, over priced hunk of ****s. i personally hate them, i had to do a timing belt on a 2000ish passat. i had to take off the FRONT Facia(bumper, lights, grill, support etc) to do the damn timing belt! god i hate volkswagen

Funny, thats how you have to do an oil change, replace a battery and/or alt, or anything else.
We did an oil change on a 2002 Passat...the oil filter is under the intake manifold, which jets out to the right onteh 4cyl, but the big K member blocks getting do it from the bottom. You need wee-little hands to wedge your self between the intake ducting and the intake manifold and get a strap wrench on it.
Lets not even get into doing an alignment on one....

As for the commercials, they talk about it having a low ego compared to other german cars, yet I didnt see or at least couldnt tell, if any of them were German? The first car is the 300C, whos owner's father didnt love him enough....ok
then there is a red sports car, and I cant hear what that crazy bitch is yelling but that might be a SLK350
Then there is a Dbag in a yellow Viper, yelling about he has a small piece and hes making it up with his Viper...enough of that sterotype.

So out of the 3 or 4 other cars in the commercial, the ONLY other possible German car was the red one. The 300C and Viper, while owned by Diamler Chrysler, are not German. So the Passat keeps puttering along as the Yuppies inside it think they are cool, but they dont have to show they are cool cause they drive a Passat?

what motor on the passat? i usually go thru the bottom on all vws for the oil filter. i f-n hate the air box
