would it be easy to switch the front bumper of a LT1 TA to an LS1 Bumper? im not too fond of the whole LT1 style TA but if i could change 2 things (hood and front bumper) id think about getting one...

yeah, the fenders, hood, headlights, impact bar and turn signals are all different. Also the radiator support is slightly different but i am 95% sure you can make it work with the 93-97 rad support. All in all the swap would be pretty expensive, like at least 1000 to do and then figure in paint. I was going to do the swap on my old 93 T/A but decided against it.

thanks for the info guys, turns out im not gonna buy it as it ends in like 5 mins (ebay). Its going for $3200 but it has 185000 miles on it hell for that money i could drop a brand new LT1 in it, but i dont feel like paying for the shipping and im sure i could find one around here.
About 10 mins ago i almost bought a 2000 TA with 90000 miles on it for about 6 grand. good thing i didnt though cuz it has frame damage and it was a leased car and was in an accident and all that good stuff. I knew it sounded too good to be true....

I think he was referring to telling the difference between an LS1 and an LT1. The LT's had the slotted grid on the tail lights, whereas the LS1's have the honeycomb pattern.
Which, of course, has nothing to do with changing the front bumper.

Well I agree that honeycombs look way better, but Brando was asking about swapping the front bumper, not converting the entire car to the 98-02 style.
