Just 2 blocks away there was a gang related shooting...

It Hawthorne... the white suburbia capital of Passaic county!
All I know so far is that some guy who lived at the home (2 blocks away), was seeing some girl who used to date a gang member, and the gang member broke into the house and shot the poor guy up. Im sure more information will come out by the end of the day!

I was driving home from work and saw that the police had blocked off the entire street, and there were alot of crime investigation trucks about. As I was driving home I saw my buddy Sal outside his house and asked since he is a fire fighter and would have heard about it on the radio. Pretty wild stuff!

Last night, my mom's coworker's 15 year old kid was shot and killed in Teaneck... and I heard also last night some kid got pummeled to death at spring valley

I heard about the Spring Valley thing through a retard I work with. He saw the whole thing, didn't know anyone died from it. It was also a fight over a girl too I hear.

Oh yeah on Wed night there was a huge fatal accident on Rt.208 in Hawthorne.

yea, one of the places I valet is Boulevard funeral home in New Milford (well at that place i only point people into spots but still), I was working for that woman's funeral (the one on 208.) Her SUV rolled multiple times and she died... lots of people came out for the funeral.

also i heard that some guy shot his kids in washington township today but that is unconfirmed at this time

and did u see on the news the guy that committed suicide in the city, filled his apartment up with gas and blew up the whole building, FDNY went to 6th alarm

confirmed on washington township just saw it on news 12, father killed 14yo and 20yo sons while they slept and then shot himself, police found them after a relative called the PD looking for the family, mother and daughter were in south jersey at the time

That is sad. The more I think about it, most of us have been pretty fortunate not to have to deal with things like that. I lived a pretty sheltered life in central NJ... now being in Atlantic City most of the time, I've experienced some wild things. It truly is sad that people still kill others... but I suppose that's a fact of life. I don't wish death upon anyone. I realized I'm a pretty peaceful guy. If I got beef with someone... I'd rather go at it with him in a sport, game, or some other type of competition... but not death. I think this is why many of us engage in competition... sports... car racing... poker (lol)... it's a much more civilized way of competing.

i was up at SV last night and heard everything happening and walked over to check it out (not to close) there was like a 20 person fight, girls got hit and some white guy was on the ground barley moving. Then once the cops came they were getting hit too. They were hittign people with there helmets. It sad that people cant just go hang out and have a good time. Stupid ricers ruin everything

How about when some guy comes out of prision, goes to his ex gf's house where she is with her mother, sees the ex gf is pregnant, kills them, and chops them, and this all goes on 2 blocks away from your house as you are outside chainging your oil on your car....Thats creepy.

Word on the street says that the PD is no where close to wraping up the investigation, they have no clue what happened other then a dead guy with 7 bullets lodge in him.

for some reason i just heard about this this morning...got an email from ramapo....i went to school with the kid john......he was an accounting major and i'm finance...so we've had some classes together and things.....very sad....ramapo kids are dropping like flies, for some reason so many are tragically killed lately =/
