alligning a 79 TA frame to sit square witht the body?
I bought some new body mounts for my 1979 trans am and when I went to install them I noticed there was ajustments on all of the mounts. Any ideas on how to make sure the frame is sitting straight with the body?

If it is like my Camaro, there are alignment holes as part of the forward body mounts (not the rad support). You usea dowel or something to align it with the corresponding hole in the body. Do the same on the RH one, excedpt the hole in the body maybe elongated, not round.
Hole in mount (that hole s/b round, we replaced metal in the pad, leaving the alignment hole alone):
If the frame is in the car, you can do one at a time. That is the way to do it.

I Maybe. I have a small machinists hammer with a metal handle that was perfect for this. Also for forcing out my pilot bushing.

Ah yes, I remember when I found out the frame mounts on my old 76 were starting to rot. I just took the sub frame to a chassis shop and had them weld in some nice thick metal washer looking things in there and all was better.

I just started on this section of my car and my mid mounts are in bad shape. I bought the kit from goodmark and what a joke. The mid plate holes are no where close to being in the right place. At least the holes are the right size, and I should be able to make them work.

If it is a whole mounting pad, I think you may have 1st gen ones. I’ve only seen them for 1st gens. The 2nd gen ones I’ve seen in catalogs are just rings like Ian mentioned.
We just made mine out of 1/8” stock.

Goodmark lists them as 70-81, but they are the same part number as the 67-69.

Then Goodmark is wrong. Check all the other catalogs - 67-69 only. 70-81 are rings.
