reciver hitch mounted motorcycle carrier..opinions?

I've been interested in getting a hitch mounted carrier for my bike for a while now, so id like to see if anyone has one or used one, or knows of any problems with them. The one i'm looking at is around $400, and can hold up to 600lbs(my bike is about 370) I would use the carrier on my Denali(id probably get air-lift helper bags) and on my Dodge ram. I figure if i wanna ride more now, being able to get my bike places that way would be a little more incentive for me since i may have to ride an hour just to meet up with others to ride with, plus on my truck, i could fit 2 bikes in the bed and a 3rd outside if desired. On top of that, if i go to Sturgis south dakota in 2010 this may be better than a trailer(fot that itd be taking probably a chopped rigid). I'm not 100% fully set on it, but i figured id see if anyone had any experiences with it. Heres a pic of the one i'm looking at...

i know a few people who have used them. just make sure you get one that has some ramps or something to get the bike on and off, some kits don't come with them. also make sure it either has auxilary lights on it or doesn't block your tail lights.
most of the ones i have seen are pretty much designed for sport bikes that are short wheel base, not sure who makes one that would fit any sort of chopper.

yeah, the one pictured comes with the ramp, wider for rear tires, comes with an optional light kit, and is for bikes with a wheel base up to 65". Oh and by chopper, i dont mean a full all out streched frame with a 43degree rake or such. It would be a custom basic length frame, rigid rear, big motor, stock triples and just thicker front shocks, but now that i think of it, length would be fine, but rear tire size would be impossible to fit, it'd be running somethign in the area of a 300 rear tire. so scratch that...AND I also plan on getting a 6" extended swingarm for my ninja, so that may put me over the 65", ill have to look into that, Either way, if my bike will fit, i wanna make sure these arent a waste of money, i'm just concerned with the possibility of the bike falling over sideways.

there are a few kits that hold the bike at an angle. that may give a bit more space for a longer bike. every kit i have seen holds the frame in at least 2 spots as well, unless something breaks it woudl be hard for the bike to tip over.

be sure the bike doesnt weigh more then the max toungue weight of your trailer hitch
