I've seen people only get 3-4 runs on a Friday, but the one night I ran there I got in 11.

if you get there when the gates open you WILL get a bunch of runs before the crowd shows up, if there is one. Then you will probably 'only' get 3 more after that. The people who only get 3-4 runs are the ones who show up at 8 and expect to get a bunch before 1030. get there at 6 and you wont have any problems geting a lot of runs in.

I'm too far away from Island (and my effin car is still not ready) but I plan on being at MG for the NMCA event. Are you racing True Street?

The first street legal night this year I got I think 9 or 10 runs in. But negative, I wont be there... maybe Sunday, or next week.

for those that are interested in coming tonight, island is open. it will probably be a pretty dead night, so everyone should get a lot of runs in. The weather holds most people back from coming, but gates are open right now. Jr is already here, not too many other people.. doesn't look like there's any more rain heading our way.

He said no problem JR.. glad the track was working well for you. What did you end up running? We were too busy fighting with valve springs to be able to watch. And what happened with the girl who spun the camaro out? She just never lifted? She went for a wild ride!

haha, should have checked here, or called the track there were only like 40 cars, if that... days like this hold people back from coming, so its the best time to get a lot of runs in.

Well, she never lifted and one wheel was spinning till the posi kicked in and she went for a ride, she never saw it coming and now she is scared ****-less to ever drive her boyfriends car again, but i told her to go up again and drive it like driving to work to get the feel of going down the track, and she said NO WAY !!!. well i got 6 runs in and was pleased that the car drives straight and i thought the car would never wheel stand again but it did 4 times, but all 5 of my runs were 144.2, 144.7, 144.2, 144.8, 145.3, last one was 12.75 @ 77mph, so all in all i'm a happy camper car goes straight but now back to the drawing board to keep the front end down. JR1.
