east coast supercharging

Well tonight i was sitting at the Wawa in New Egypt doing my usual nightly bull****ting and i had the SS out. Well down the road i heard an extremely loud whine. I then saw a black C5 vert with a rollcage pull into wawa give a quick glance to my SS and pull out. It turns out that the vette besides having some SICK motor work and a serious blower was owned by one of the owners of East Coast Supercharging on rt 539 in Plumstead. The car sounded absolutely nuts and was beautiful at the same time. For those of you who don't know about them here is their website. Their shop is less than 5 minutes from my house. www.eastcoastsupercharging.com

Taken directly from their site, in reference to the car that i saw tonight "When it comes to boost, ECS is one of the leading supercharging specialists in the Country. We have spent countless hours of street and track testing of all of our kits. To date, our 99 C5 Convertible still holds the record as the Worlds Fastest Procharged C5 (Linked to Car) running a nitrous assisted 9.7 @ 143 while still completely street legal with all factory installed accessories."

that's news to me!

So would a powerdyne supercharger be "street legal?" Why do they always say offroad use only?

I ran a Powerdyne 4.5 on my 93 Z28 for 5 years and even passed the new roller sniffer test. And that was without any tuning! The off-road use thing applies to Calif most likely.

clutch, slave and master cyllenders

i took new 02 hydrolics with me but they said "we have our own that we modify to make better" so they didnt use my parts.....

broke it in as directed, 2 weeks later i took it to atco and THEIR slave failed, which left me stranded just outside of atco at around 10pm. tow truck showed a little after 1:30am.

had it towed back to ecs on a friday, they let it sit untill the following friday when they decided to thrash on it to finish right away and then call me at about 8pm to tell me i HAD to come get it because they were having an open house for their vette customers and didnt want any "POS F-BODYS" there on saturday.
