Placed an order for a new beater - different car now
Yup.... the E class was returned before Florida.
We were going to wait until Nov/ Dec for the new MB diesel to come out
Genie got to drive boons 07 CLK550 (382 hp and 391 tq) conv while in Florida.... well..... after further review.... I placed an order about 1 hr ago.
But..... I don't roll like him.... this will be a black 07 CLK350 coupe w/ navi.
And.... it isn't for me.... it's for Genie..... so she gets a new beater 
I expect 14.3/ 14.2 out of it..... maybe 14.1?
Now I wait to find out how long till it arrives.....

Damn it. I wasn't gonna tell any body right away, and just show up at the track with it Oh well.

But now it might be an E. The CLK would take til mid October to come in. I can't wait that long.
An E is still a 14.3 1/4 mile. I'll take it

Yep, that's what it looks like. Still no confirmation tho.
Every other car he's gotten, or boon has gotten, they haven't had an issue. Now all of a sudden I want a car, and we run into delays and such. Oh well.

All the other cars I've ordered (well, only 2) were already either at corporate headquarters or at the shipping yard.
My 03 C230 coupe was here
The E350 took a couple days at best.
There are no CLK's with the features I want in the US.... they would have to build it and it would be scheduled to arrive mid Oct.... sigh.
I am exploring other avenues.....aka other MB's....

Look how I've been hanging around with the past year...and look at who my friends are who I hung out with prior to meeting this freak I live with...
btw, I bet you make a new record if you come down on Saturday. Should take an hour and 10 minutes...I bet you do it in under an hour if there is no traffic.

well the fiance will be in the car with me so I don't think I'll be breaking and sound speed barriers. However I am only 2 min from the parkway so barring any traffic it should only take 45-50 min.
