how about a totalled jeep. needs minimal work to run and will be worth a couple grand if you fix it up. 98 w/ ~60k on the odo.

after sitting for almost a year without being fixed, it went to the shop today. it will be for sale after its fixed as a salvage title if anyone is still interested. it wont be a thousand dollars but it will definately cost less then book value and you will at least know the history of it.
