New engine time

Well worked on my valvetrain and the tapping/knocking is still in the engine. Probably looking at a bad lifter or two. Either way I am just getting a new engine. Really wanted a 402 but the money isn't there for it so I am getting a Rapid Motorsports Dominator 346 longblock. Should be a nice running motor even if I can't stand the car ont he bumper. Hopefully I will have it in a month or two and maybe even get to run it this year.

Sucks that the motor is done, but at least you'll have a better replacement

Yeah I would expect somewhere in the 450RWH range or so, then maybe go back to N/A (Nitrous assisted) .
