well like the title says, I might be racing a H/C bolt on 306 sometime tomorrow. i think its a 89 or 90 mustang, 5 spd, 3.73 gears & DR's. a friend of mine is setting up the race between us. his best time he told him was 13.1 but didnt say mph. so i told my pal to ask him about mph and 60' time.
my latest time was a 12.55 @ 112 with a 2.0 60' my best time is in my sig

If it goes down, you all know that I will have video. win or lose, I think this will be a close,close race

What are your thoughts on it?

h/c foxbody is a very broad statement...you could be looking at a 13 to 11 second car...g/l regardless and be sure to post the vid!

13's out of a head/cam fox body? either its mismatched or he cant drive very well.

Did you ask what the primer to paint ratio is? In 5.0 land, more primer = teh fast.
If its a solid color, then you should be able to walk him. If he has more then 50% primer factor, then he's bsing you.

well that sum' bitch backed out. BUT i saw him tonight, its a notchback, and its all primer, lol. and i watched him race my buddies 89-90 GT, and they went 1 for 1 on each other, and i raced my buddy with the GT and walked him pretty badly, so things are looking gooooood. BTW, as soon as i came out there the kid with the H/C primer gray notch left without saying goodbye....

another rule in 5.0 land: if its a notch and it isnt a 4 banger, its fast....very fast!

well he showed up, with no spray. He raced my buddies ported heads, B cam, bolt on & 373 geared 1990 gt and it was dead even. they raced again and the 306 broke his clutch cable, so i didnt get to race him

but i know i will whoop on him now. ill have their video on tonight sometime.

If it is Andrew, you should be able to beat him if he's not spraying. That car should hit mid 12's if he hits his shifts right, and is spraying.

yeah man thats andrew. he said he snapped his clutch cable because the pedal was flopping around on him. btw, my car will hit mid 12s burning the tires thru 1st gear with no spray, all N/A !!
