Sometimes Good Does Triumph Over Evil....
Went to a car show at my old high school today since it was so nice out. Probably my last for the season. I didn't know until I got there but it was sponsored by a local tuner shop. Needless to say 90% of the cars were rice to the extreme. The show was judged by high school kids and one of the guys from the tuner shop went around to judge Best of Show. Well him and I were talking for a bit and he informs me that he's choosing my car as Best of Show. I was shocked but happy. Well about a half hour later he comes back and says sorry but I can't win it. He talked to the owner of the shop who was also there and told him which car he chose. Well the owner flipped because it wasn't an import that was all riced out and non-stock looking. He told me they were gonna give it to this POS Honda and he was really sorry because my car was by far the best there.
Frankly I didn't really care...I was there to advertise anyway and I told him it was ok and I understood it was for their business. Well all the high school kids that had been judging got into it with the owner of the tuner shop about how my car was definitely the best and that I had to win Best of Show. Guess who came home with the trophy! And best part of it....the car on the top of the trophy is actually a thirdgen. Hahah.....Score one for the good guys.
