NJSP sidearms?
Anyone know what the NJSP currently issue as thier official sidearms? Is it a sig or glock (or did they go something completly different) and what caliber?

Doy ou know what model and cal? i thougth it was sig but i saw something on glocks site about being used by NJ police, but they didnt say STATE just that polince in jersey use them... thought maybe it changed.

different divisions may use different side arms, but i know that regular patrol uses sig's and not glocks. many many many many departments in nj use glocks. because their cheap, usually reliable, easy to fix, and most models are universal. We use H&K .40's I believe NJSP uses 40's also.

In my town they used to use Sigs 9mm but they switched to Glocks. I know they are .45 cal but Im not sure what model I think the 23.

we use glock 17 9mm's
im either getting a glock 19 or sig p-226 for off duty
