SITE DOWNTIME TONIGHT - 12/22/06
Hey guys,
Just want to let you know that there will be some time late tonight when the site will not be accessible due to the time it takes to update the new DNS servers we are switching too. Once this is done tonight we will be completely disassociated with our old web hosting provider.
I won't submit the request to begin this until after 8:00 pm, so most of the downtime will be later in the evening. There isn't a set amount of time that it will be down, some of you will only be affected for a few minutes, while others might be unable to access the site for several hours. This will vary based on the speed that the new information can be passed to DNS servers on the web.
We're sorry that we have to subject you to even more downtime, but total control over our domain and our server is for the long term good of the club.
