Many other forums are this way, posts in the classifieds usually dont count towards the overall post count. It doesnt give a fair representaion of how active a member is on a board. Ive seen users all over forums with like 200 posts(90% in classifieds) buying and selling only and never contribute to any other section.

That's pretty much on the money. We wanted the post count to more accurately reflect a member's activity on the board, and not just how much stuff they have sold.
