well i was told to use just regular soap to wash my car when my car got painted... if u use wax in the first month of fresh paint, the paint will boil/blister.

I went through one a few years back with my 98 TA when it was around 15° outside, and a hydraulic hose burst at the end. The hydraulic fluid got on the back of a stretch limo, almost completely covered a new E-class Benz (temp sticker still in window) that was right under the hose, and got quite a bit of my front end and hood. Once they got it fixed, they ran us through about 8 times to get it all off, and gave us certificates for free detailing. It was probably a freak thing, but if I wasn't washing my own cars now, I don't think I could bring myself to go through one when it's this cold.

go to a hand place, paint doesn't fully cure for at least 2 months, which is also how long you should wait to wax it.

yea.. so i took it to the car wash and no problem watsoever. the wheels fit right in and this place had realllllly low rails so even if it hit, it hit tire.

the best part was getting home and removing the ice from the back bumper

im def not saying im making a habit of using the car wash but due to the circumstances im not complaining

thanks for the info tho guys..
