one layer throughout the cabin but double up on the trouble areas (doors, trunk, wheel wells, and the sail panels in our cars) don't bother doing the outsides cause it wont stick long.

and jon, i really cant stress enough the importance of prepping the surface with alcohol. it sticks like garbage if you don't.

ive done the stock weight and stripped sound deadening before...the rattles were the main thing that made me hate the car. And through it all i still managed a 12.700 in a bolt-on 3620lb car so the extra weight dont skurrrrrrr me

try getting some tie rods that correct bump steer (moog or baer tracker)

excellent, a front end rebuild was planned for the near future anyway. I was gonna use Moog and spohn (swaybar) as well as energy suspension poly bushings for the a-arms. I have a whole breakdown with part numbers and prices saved on my computer.

yup, don't skimp out on the tie rods and ball joints, especially on the older cars. i'm gonna go with the baer tie rods but the moogs are a nice lower priced alternatives.

See if global west makes del-a-lum bushings for those lower arms. You'll be happier, if not poorer.

I see that GW makes a nice set of leafs for the 72...as well as some other nice, and costly things.
