Apparently im king of the dyno in Abbotstown PA
While I was in york PA, visiting a friend of mine, we decided to go out to the old gettysburg airport to see if anyone was racing out there. it was abandoned of course. but on the way there, i saw a mobile dyno being set up in abbotstown in a parking lot off of rt 30. so on the way back there were cars there, i pull up and ask if i can dyno. i could. it was 65 bucks for 2 pulls on a dynojet so i figured what the hell, lemme put the T/A on there for fun.
there were a couple of hicks there with their jacked up dodge diesels (on video) the 3500 made like 985lbft of tq) a newer mach 1 (279hp), an older camaro (356hp), a 99T/A, (312hp) and some other cars i missed. my turn finally comes. the guy dynos it the 1st run in 5TH GEAR! (it only dynod like 334 hp lol. im like "yooo dude you need to be in 4th gear. 4th is a perfect 1:1 ratio." soo he does the next runs and it makes 360hp and 480 tq! 2nd pull it makes 361hp and 590tq lol!! (he said something about the tq being so high, like it spiked or something. (i figured i pulled a kasey on it or something) i got an lil award from them that says "king of the dyno 8cyl class" lol what a great day. and yes ill have video of it when i get home!
