Auto Bone is REALLY pizzing me off!

I went into the local Auto Bone a couple of weeks ago, and found out the place is being run by a guy I used to work with @ Car Parts back in the 90s. I complained to him how I would really like to get back in the biz, but that after putting in multiple applications @ The Bone they never got back to me. Well, he tells me to apply on line, and to use his name as a
referral. So, I go home and do it. Now it has been over 2 weeks, and when I look up my application it says that it is "under review." What's there to review? You got a guy with over 20 years experience, and the backing of the store's manager. They shoulda been calling me back the next friggin' day! Auto Bone sux azz BIG TIME!!!

I shed a tear for Car Parts every time I walk into that place. AutoZone sucks. What sucks worse is that NAPA is the only other game in town and they are closed too much on weekends.

I had some of the best times in my life working at Car Parts. I was a part timer who was pretty much working full time, and I learned A LOT while working there. Plus it was like a social club...after hours the beer would flow, the hot rod books would come out, and the bench racing would last long into the night...

They just opened a small auto center in East Bruns. There is one in New Bruns and one in Woodbridge.

i usta work at autozone for almost 3 years part time.... here it is in the short summary.... went through 5 store managers... 3 women who were good for nuthing and knew nuthing bout car parts or cars.... 1 guy manager (harry) knew his stuff for the mosttt part and the last guy darius or darry usta be a womens shoe store manager before that and didnt know what spark plugs were.... they took me outa the system cause i supposably never said i needed a month off... but i gave them 2 months notice prior lol... i hadda resubmit my application and never got a call back.... now mind you i was the only one who knows car outa all the people in the store..... they like to hire girls who dont know cars....guys that dont know cars either ahhahahha... place is a joke i still get calls today from people i know who work there for help sometimes finding something lol.... but i still get my 20% off....lol
