Ok so saturday I realized I was a week late on a court payment. So I went there today to pay up the whoopin $9 that I owed(no lie) and on the way home sure as I'm siting here trying not to break something, them god damn red lights...."sir I wrote you a ticket for your tail light being out" WTF!!!!! little buck-toothed queer looking bastard. WTF is next..."sir...your truck too rusty"?

Lots of these Barney Fife cops have nothing better to do then look for minor b.s. Lights DO burn out...and how many of us do a walk around inspection of our vehicle every time we go out to drive? Or how many of us jump out at lights to do a walk around inspection of our vehicles? Not many, I would gather to say. I don't care who ya are, if you got bagged for a minor infraction like this you would be pizzed, too!

98.5% of cops will not ticket for a taillight bulb that's out unless you were a. doing something else that was worse, or b. acting like an ******* when he came up to talk to you.

Act respectful and you won't get a ticket

Yeah it sucks but it can always be worse. He could have hit you for no seatbelt if you weren't wearing one, maybe thought it was a blinker and illegal lane change. I've never gotten pulled over for a B.S. ticket like that so I don't know how I'd be but as long as no points are involved I usually don't care too much.

wise words.... it took me way too long to figure that out. and that 1.5% of cops that would do that are probably not having a good day or have it coming back to them twice over

yeah sucks to get the ticket but i would have been eating while stopped dont let some good (debatable in this case) food go to waste!!

yeah i feel for ya, had the camaro out one night, just for the hell of it i checked the headlights to see if they worked before i left my house. i get into hackettstown on 46 and i see a cop go by in the west bound lane, i think nothing of it, 1 min later hes behind me. now im thinking great im done, and as soon as i said that lights come on. I asked him what i did, he said nothing but my headlight was out. now i had a witness with me who checked the headlights with me before leaving. so i told the cop "are you serious? because they worked 20 min ago." he was like "oh you dont believe me?" I said yes but they were just working, got out of the car and sure enough that pos headlight was out. So i got the lovely $54 ticket. fun.

Ok it got better last night...on my way to meet up with Ron to get the engine ready to pull another cop was on my azz...but I hit the drive way before they got me. I hate NJ cops....Galloway used to be cool as hell.
