For those that will go, you will have a perfect evening for it. Low humidity levels, not too hot temperatures. I just got done railing on my Z, and it feels wicked fast. I know I would get kicked out, and I wouldn't be able to come until late anyways.

I hope everyone else has a great time though!

I'll be there.

Unfortunately my car isn't up and running just yet but I'll be there with my friend and his 88 Mustang Notchback.

I beat him into the 13's before I put my car out of commision so tonights the test to see if he can catch me, his best to date is a 14.1 at 99 mph.

Got back a little while ago as well. I did not run the car but I ate my chicken in 3.02 minutes... new fuel pump is going in tomorrow and the car will be sprayed again. Its then off to wherever to run the damn thing to see if I can get myself in trouble.

j0n - nice final runs and a huge improvement over that first one lol.

Well I finally got home after getting stuck in construction for like 30 minutes. It was nice meeting you guys. After a little research I don't think my car is running as bad as I thought, but still not quite right byt he MPH. Anyway I ran a 12.2 @ 116 with a 2.158 60 ft (should have kept my slicks). I still think it should trap in the 120's but my 11's on the old motor were with slicks and 2 gallons of gas (I had almost a full tank). My 60's were all 1.5 and 1.6 then and I also didn't have the roll bar, 5 points and fire extinguisher. SO I'll work some minor issues and get some better tires after I kill the DR's.

i didn't break anything. car had 14s in it but the sun came down too fast. oh well. 15.0 is quite respectable for a 5700# SUV.

i have a great time none-the-less. and melissa, you're dad sure makes great BBQ

i had a pretty frustrating day, wish the car ran a bit better, but my guess is it was due to the air temps and humidity (thats what i hope, anyways). my best run today was 13.7 @ 103, and my best run to date was a 13.2 @ 108 with the current set up. i couldnt get traction on my launches, or launched too slow... but i couldnt find the middleground. oh well, better luck next time.

to blackbird and batman- it was nice meetin your guys

I had a pretty good day in my ****** car...and by good I mean my first pass. I hit a 14.8 at 98.5 with a 2.4x 60ft which bettered my best time overall at etown of a 15.1 with a 2.4 60ft at 97. Then the second run I missed second gear and ran a 15.3 with a 2.3 60ft and the 3rd run i missed second again with a 15.1 and a 2.260ft. Apparently my car does not go into second gear anymore at wot...yay for a tranny slowly dying.

car is stock..hence the slow times...I think I was the fastest fwd.

just got home. my friends MR2 blew something on rt 80, spraying my car with coolant and a little oil. we sat on the side of the road waiting for a tow and twice cops came to check on us but were really cool and they called him a tow truck since they said it would be faster than AAA.

but before that, it was a great time, lol. I only ran my SS 4 times sinc ei didnt wanna break anythign again this time. i got a new best ET. my 1st run was 13.2, 2nd was 13.1, 3rd was 12.89, and final run was 12.79 @113. That last run satisfied me for now since it was still with a 2.1 60'. Ill eventually get DRs to cut my 60', plus my big thing i still need is a tune.. the stock tune and heads/cam/LTs/portedTB/injectors combo doesnt do it justice, haha.

were you the silver camaro with a black bumper?

i liked that mr2(the red early/mid 90s turbo). I told my girlfriend that I want one for a auto x car..and she asked why does the car sound like a bird is chirping when he shifts. I thought that was funny.

j0n - a trip to atco is going to definitely in order and I will have to bring my future father-in-law since he got his new 07 c6 last week.

It was nice meeting all you guys there and listening to my attempt to act as a comic relief. Next time I won't be a little bitch and run the bird.

That supra was performing in typical fashion but I was diggin the 03-04 modded cobra's. (especially the gray one)

i was explaining to ny gf about e.t. and trap speed. She asked why it had such a crappy et for its trap speed. I said turbo lag and crappy driving. That was painful watcing him bog off the line and counting the second till boost came on.
