I own 2 4th Gen F-bodies (in my sig), and I don't owe 1 penny on either of them.

I have more than $60,000 just in my Z alone. But take into consideration that was spent over the last 9 years, and I have had a lot of well paying jobs in the past.

Saving $ is everything though. Make a budget, look at where most of your expenses are going every month. Try to cut back on the needles stuff like going out for dinner all the time, or getting the latest XBOX game. Interest owed adds up as well. Personally I have a handfull of credit cards that I use to build up credit, but I always pay them off month to month (have never paid those greedy people 1 cent). Car loanes and other interest related things add up as well. Try to get stuff paid off early to maximise on spending less as a whole.

You don't have to be a cheepskate to be able to save effectively.

another issue with the supra was traction...in at least the first 3 gears anyway. it also didnt help that he had some pretty big wheels on it

One is my neighbor from 3 houses up my street, kevin, he has a 80 vette and his dad has a 1940 willys coupe with a 355 with a 8-71 blower, and a t bucket roadster.
The other kid, anthony, had the red MR2 that was racing.
and the 3rd kid jon has an RX7.

Yeah, 2.2 60Ft times. I went over it, it seems OK and like I said it is running very strong, but with those 60's I am already at least .5 in the hole from when I had slicks. Working on getting some new wheels and better rubber and working from there. Also the car is quite a bit heavier then the cam only 11.7 runs. I'll figure it out, but gotta start with traction
