paint?

what should i ask for when I go to the paint shop for paint? Im doing this at home in my driveway. I have a gravity fed gun, and am not looking for the best job, but the best i can make it.

Ya thats decent cheapo paint, i used it to paint my gocart came out pretty good. I dont know how their clear is though, i was to cheap to use it on the gocart.

pics? its 20 bucks so 60 for the paint, clear and primer, Id be doing it in black.. But I want to do it silver so when I'm rich i can paint my car silver and have a matching engine bay?

what color did you use?

You're better off with black. That silver won't match what you paint your car unless you paint the whole car that color. The black would be better then mismatched silver.

Definately want to see the results when you are done Wayfast. Might be a good answer for my nearly nonexistant budget.

Do you have a high res camera? Black is such a pain in the *** to get right.

I tried rattle coat, It looked ok, But I wanted a little better results, Im going to order the duplicolor paint system with black and hope it looks better.

just picked up that paint it was 62 bucks total, Im hoping Ill have the primer sprayed tonight. Lots of masking to do!

Matt you're just doing the engine bay for now right? Any body panels you can practice on afterward to see what the paint looks like on the outside?

ill do have of a fender I have, If I have enough extra maybe ill do the whole thing, the problem is it needs to be buffed out, and I wont have the machine to do that..
