Gettin' the trucks dirty (56k = go raid the fridge)

Last week Jon and I took our trucks down to Collier's Mills and played around for a while:

Still clean:

This trail looks innocent, right?

....it wasn't so innocent (I stuck a stick about 2' down into that with almost zero effort):

the result:

Found a nice spot for a few flex shots:

Posing in the sand:

Juuuuust clearing that crest:

Posing near the lake:

Just a short sample....there are about 100 pics of the day here:

Justin fails to mention that there were two parts to that mud-hole, and the ram saw the deeper part, hence the mud that I have on the wheels

After I got done with that hole, its all one nice uniformed mud hole

You had to point out the fact that I backed into a tree, didn't you?

I made Jon park over a ditch and jump in his truck:

I know it looks tiny. I actually have more lift than him too.

'97 Ram stock size tire = 28"
'97 Ram w/3" lift tire = 35"
'96 Jeep stock size tire = 28.8"
'96 Jeep w/3.5" lift tire = 31"

Damn Dodges......

No, more like damn your enormous wheel gap. You could prolly toss some 37s on that truck as it sits. I would need at least 2 more inches of lift to even think about 37s.

When the Jeep is no longer a DD (and I have some money) it will get a new 4.5" or 5.5" lift and prolly 33"x12.5" tires. Until then, I'll be happy with what I've got.

Wheel gap yes, however when I turn the wheel, I have about two inches of clearence, I need to get some more lift to think about more tires, a year from now I think Ill be lookin at that problem.

2 inches? Wow.......I'm rubbing the fronts at full lock, and you got to witness firsthand how much I can make the rear tires rub
