not sure if i should take the headers off

i have a 91 formula 350 with a set of slp duel cat headers on it, going to sell the car, so should i take them off and put them on my 91 trans am with a dog of a 305 witch i am trying to blow up with stock manifolds? not sure if i just want to go out and just buy a new set of headers, not sure what to do.

Take em off and put the stock manifolds on the seller.

Keep the headers till you blow up the 305 then assemble Frankensteins monster from all the crap you have lying around and slap the headers on that. If you leave the headers on the seller, you'll just have to go out and buy another set later.

I've never done a header swap on a thirdgen, but if it's not a complete biatch of a job to do you might attempt to swap. However, rusty bolts snapping in the head will suck for sure, so if either set has been together a loooooong time, it might be worth it just to leave it alone and buy new headers when you swap in a new motor. Nothing like an engine bay full of clean, shiny parts!

I might save them, but not waste the time to screw around with them on car #2. You must have better things to do with your time.
