Fords are just too funny

So my bro was asleep and his 97 thunderbird (V8) was blocking my moms 97 Mustang (V6) so i moved the thunderbird to let her out and i decided to take it out for a spin on 28 to test it out because my bros been complaining that it smells like ant-freeze and its overheating.

So im driving it and i keep hearing this weird clicking noise and i notice the pop locks shaking. So i lock doors as im driving and i make a turn and they pop up on there own?!? So im like wtf is this...everytime i turn the wheel even slightley the doors unlock themselves and it didnt stop just kept doing it

Now i havent been into auto-mechanics for that long but WOW! Now has anyone else here ever have this problem or even heard of it? And furthermore what on earth could cause this?

P.S. I CANT make this stuff up

is it power locks? if so I belive they had a feature that when you put the car in park after driving it unlocks the doors. so its possible if so the neutral safety switch is shot.

well if the neutral safety is in the column turning the wheel could cause the locking mechanism to move and making the switch read park

this may sound stupid but... i haved a 97 t-bird v-8 myself. that was happenning to me one day. locks pop open the shut was driving me crazy. then i noticed my passenger who is a tall guy had his leg closest to the window bent knee. his knee was triggering the power lock switch every turn or bump. could it have been the way you were seated?
