If this is your everyday driver, then leave it alone! The only thing that you will find, is a firmer shift on hard driving (such as at a drag strip). It will NOT make any difference in your times. For severe driving it might help your trans hold up better, but that's if you take it to the drags every weekend. Change your trans oil, put in a new filter every 30,000 miles and you'll be fine. |

B&M makes a shift improver kit...i got one myself.....its only 30 something bucks on summit so its not a huge loss if you dont like it.
They definetley help the durability, smoothness and response time, but if your trans already has pre-existing conditions then dont get one youl just make it worse.

 | Actually I have always heard the opposite regarding B&M's kit and durability.

As JZ said, the transgo is really the best one. But if your trans has high milage or existing problems get all that taken care of first.

Oh ya definetley transgo is the best...but im just saying that that if your not looking and spending a whole lot of money and your just trying to get a little better performance than B&M ould suffice.

it dont have problems...it has 135k miles afaik and the main thing that sucks is i hit the gas hard, hesitates(loner than it should), then shifts..it also shifts too soon when babying it and it goes down to like 800-900 rpm and has no power n bogs so bad.
