7:30 am explosion in Irvington
Anyone else feel the shock from the explosion in Irvington this morning. I was brushing my teeth when the windows in my house shook and I heard a huge BOOM.
Got to work and saw 2 homes in Irvington exploded. 1 dead and 5 injured. Supposedly one of the homes was scheduled for demolition and the other was being rebuilt. Workers had just arrived and it was a possible gas leak.
Freaky schtuff....

Nah, Irvington's all about weed, coke and heroin. It was a house under construction and it appears that some junkie rocket scientist entrepeneur was trying to steal copper pipe from one of the houses, which was being renovated. Apparently, a copper pipe looks a lot like the gas main to a junkie and, well...kaboom. Think he'll get the Darwin this year?
