it had a CC Q-jet 305 but now its just a 350 with a holley carb. its got a 3.42 rear over the original 2.73 as well

Nothing that you stated is within the realm of computer programming. You must remove all of the computer controlled devices if you want to run a standard mechanical carb or it will never run correctly.

Yep, what he said. 93 is when they started using the PCM to calibrate the speedometer. Before that, you must change the speedometer gears on the tail shaft.

yup need to change the speedo gears, and its not as hard as it seems, i was surprised how well the job went when i finally broke down and did mine

As far as I know 94 and on is adjustable through the PCM. 93 autos need the gear change in the trans. and 93 manuals need a calibration box like SLP use to sell. The Dakota Digital box is also used with good results. This all applies to the 4th gen V8, I don't know about any other model. It may apply to the 93 Y body as well.

You could be right, I know on the 90-92 SD cars you can do some speedo calibration in the chip if need be (like in large amounts. I had a T56 in my car at one point, and all I used was the stock 7730 to correct the speedo) I kinda figured that 93's the ECM took control over that aspect.... I could be wrong tho.

Maybe it doesn't have an intake on it at all now, since he wants you to install the HSR. Not to mention who knows just how bad the leak in the trans line is.

The trans line melted on the header. The underside of my hood, as well as my entire motor is covered in trans fluid. Still debating on having AAA tow it to your shop, or one here locally.
