I had a 1969 dated trailer hitch but somebody wanted it more than I did so I sold it. Odd thing about the hitches, the first JL8 car I bought had a full trailer hitch/wiring setup on it. Believe it or not, people would order the 4 wheel disc brakes for towing!

Jeff, weren't there a few 6 cyl JL-8's that were optioned that way for towing?

Silly Canadians, towing things with a muscle car.

No wonder Jeff got the SS396 from Canada, he needed an alternate towing car to the other Camaro.

You can never have enough Camaros to tow with!

Yes, there were some 6 cyl JL8 cars built. I know of 6 cyl, plain 350, SS396 cars with the JL8 4 wheel disc package so the JL8 was not exclusive to the Z28. The JL8 option was expensive but it did give you the 12 bolt rear as well. There may have been a ZL1 that had the JL8 rear added to the car when the cars were taken back to Chevrolet from Gibb when he realized he couldn't sell the 50 he ordered.
