Subaru Rally Car on Snowboard Course

Funny to watch and some sick jumps.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wB4RSKvufak

"Dude, get that damn car off the hill!" pretty much sums it up.

Does the snow actually soften the landings when he jumps it that the front suspension and the front clip isnt thrashed?

if it does get thrashed, they dont care. big money teams like that have truckloads of spare parts, and the body panels like them are designed to screw on and off easily.

What about frame damage though. I always thought that **** like the Dukes of hazard that the car was totalled after every jump they did.

The WRC cars are built for that sort of thing. The Chargers used for filming the Dukes were not....

most rally cars, when they take jumps, land on all 4 wheels at once. of course theres the oddball jump where you land screwed up, but in a perfect line, its either all 4 at once, or a very gentle front-then rear, or vice versa.

and again, its not like thats his personal car. hes backed by subaru.....if he totalls it, itll get fixed or he'll get a new one.

Looks like a full spec rally car so it is really meant to handle most of what you see there, maybe not that extreme though.
