greg weld vs weld racing wheels
What do you think looks better? I cant make up my mind, I think the new Greg weld dragstars are real cool looking but dont know if I should get them or prostars, or weld racing draglites. The Greg weld wheels are cheaper then Weld racing wheels..BUT I think the brakes would be more exposed under the Greg weld wheels...

I like the 2nd options in both companies, the GW ones better. Get which ever are lightest, lol.
The 1st GW wheels look like bad truck wheels.

The greg weld stars are pretty cool. They are a nice upgrade from the old ones.

Just in case you didn't know, you are aware that the summit and jegs pro star knockoffs are castings and not forgings, right?

On ls1tech I believe it said that greg weld's new wheels are made specifically to clear the 4th gen brakes.
I also heard that the wheels are being produced by boyd cottington and that it will take summit about a month to get the wheels out..

I was going to get summit or jegs wheels but with the greg welds being only 10 bucks more, and not that many people have them yet I dont think I will be able to beat the price..
But i would love to see pics of the wheels on your car.

agreed, otherwise you find yourself asking the question, why?
Matt, im thinking about the dragstars or whatever they are called from greg weld, the 2nd option ones...either that or like Josh had said with the convo pros. Any choice you make it going to look good on the car, have you thought about a rear to compliment the sticky tires that these wheels will surely be mounted with?
I have seen that your engine/trans have made some progress...

I got the rims and before i mounted the tires i put the rims on alone to see how much grinding i would need to do. trust me VERY VERY little grinding is required. The rears you BARELY grind at all and the fronts and just a TINY bit more. I was also worried about grinding and thats why i went with summit over weld prostars. I am getting the tires mounted tomm so i should have pics then. Pm me and i could show you pics so you can see exactly how much i grinded.
