Free Rear Axle for Fourth Gen - GONE
I have a used 2.73 rear gear 4 channel (Traction Control) rear axle from a 1996 Chevy Camaro. The rear has about 130,000 miles on it. The rear worked fine when I used it, no whines or other noises. The rear is from hub to hub, no brake parts...calipers were trashed anyway. No sway bar either.
I am offering this free to anyone that can pick it up. It is located in Long Branch at Pier Village.
Full Disclosure: If you search my past threads you will find one where I had thought I had a problem with this rear. As I stated in the thread I was of course wrong, there was nothing wrong with the rear, it turned out the noise I heard was from worn out LCA bushings. I changed this rear to another rear with 3.42 gears and brand new calipers.
Ask any questions about the rear, I'll be happy to answer.
Just let me know if you are interested and we can schedule a time when you can pick it up. Just about any day is good since my friend lives and works at Pier Village.
