add me to the sideline list

Well, it's been 20k miles since my trans was last rebuilt and that's all I got out of her. Saturday I was on the GSP doing about 65 and got about half throttle to pass someone and my RPMs just rose and I can hear the trans telling me to go F myself as it wouldn't go any faster. So this morning I took my car to the place that rebuilt the trans and I should hear some news tomorrow.

Seems that alot of f-bodies are being sidelined lately...

Eh, I choose to leave mine parked. Unfortunetly, I don't have time to really drive and enjoy them cept the 5 min ride to work and back.

got my baby back today. The drum cracked and was deemed a defective part, so all I had to pay was for the removal and instal of the trans itself. =)

i had bad luck last year with the trans. Tried a junk yard trans, it didn't last me 2 days, then I had my original rebuilt, they forgot to put the fittings in the case. I put some on and over tightened and cracked the case. Then I had to send it back for ANOTHER rebuild. lol. Finally got the trans in no problems. And then what happened recently.

yeah add another headache, it's back in the trans shop after a friggen week. And of course they call me a little while later "we drove it 3 times and it was perfect." Yeah...because I wanna waste money on towing my car to your shop...again!

I think you should be done with that shop. Automatics have been buil to handle excess of 700 horsepower on the strip with no problem, i cant understand why youve had to have yours built so many times with such bad luck. Good luck to you tho, iv had my share of trans/motor issues.

i was recommended that shop last year when I needed a rebuild. Only reason i've gone back is because it's under warranty
