Jury Duty
Definetly cruel and unusual, what a waste of a beautiful day.

Say .. "I have friends that are cops and I believe they do nothing wrong!"

Nothing works any more. I had cops, attorneys and doctors in my last jury pool. I've been picked to be on a jury twice in the last 6 years and just missed 3 years before that. But it's actually better to get picked right away and start the trial as opposed to sitting around the jury room waiting.

Sometimes you can still get by. I got a letter that said I had to report to be on a "grand jury" last year, and in the fine print it said grand jury duty couldn't be excused for anything. But I still told them I couldn't make it and listed being a full-time college student as my excuse. They asked me to fax them my schedule, and a few days later I got a letter saying I was excused.

well, get convicted and sentenced . no PTI or any other silly program . you'll never have to serve jury duty again. In fact, no 1 in my immediate family has been called up since my last famous fook up

Is it weird that I am close to 25 now and I have never been called or gotten a letter for jury duty? I mean I hope it stays that way, but I am never sure how some people younger than me can get picked to go multiple times over and I never got picked at all. I feel kind of left out, but in a good way. lol.

I was dismissed for the cases, getting out of the cases is easy. It's just the fact of being there that was a pain in my ass
