Spotted two 2nd gens
74-77 big bumper brown, Quick Check Franklin NJ
70-73 Burgundy, centerlines, 4 inch scoop, just looked and sounded mean (auto though) RT. 23 N Butler about 6:30 PM last night ..anyone here?

Man the only 2nd gens I see up north are rusted out bombs with old ladies driving them on original 1970's plates. All the good ones are locked up in garages and only come out for car shows.

You aren't lowering **** when you have side pipes. Only thing you can do is get thinner subframe mounts and hope it doesn't mess with engine bay clearances.

He's going for the old school look, and he nailed it in spades. It's not a caynon carver. The paint & car are beautiful. He lurks here form time to time too.

was the burgundy one a trans am? i work at pizza hut and there was one that pulled up that was burgundy with a cowl hood, sounded amazing.
that day, i almost crapped my pants.

Think of it this way-
With a lowered car and a regular exhaust, would/do you cringe when you scrape the exhaust? Now imagine that that exhaust is highly visible and covered in expensive chrome or ceramic coating. And that the side pipe system is 2 grand.

i understand, but it still looks a little weird. maybe a little more tire or rim? looks like theres alot already but the stance of a car is pretty big. its a sharp car, hell i wanted a 78-82 vette with sidepipes. maybe in a few years....
