has anyone seen....?
as some of you know, i am looking for a 1999 and up firebird. when i get it i plan on getting a raptor hood and the trans am spoiler(make fun of me if you want but i think the car isnt complete without the hood and the spoiler looks good) has anyone seen a picture of a 99 firebird with the trans am high rise spoiler?

out of curiousity, why specifically a v6 when an ls1 will get the same fuel mileage?

If its at all possible, wait a little while, save up your own money, get your own insurance, and get another year or so driving experience under your belt. The ls1 is well worth it. If you think you'll be happy with a 6, then by all means, get it, but if what you really want is a v8, wait a little while.
And btw, parents never stop trying to tell you what to do. I'm 25, out of college, out of the house, and they still try.

i definitely would wait till i could buy it all on my own but the problem is i need a good reliable car for college. so that's why i need to sell the nova and kinda why i was thinking about buying the firebird. the trans am is like my dream car, ive always wanted one; so i figured i'd get a firebird and make it look similar to a trans am then eventually swap an ls1 into it when i have plenty of money for it

Im on my own insuance and my t/a is costing me less then when i had the truck on it. It is also about the same as the 4cyl mustang. Get a quote before you decide to turn down an ls1
