June Car of the Month Submissions

Anyone can post one picture of their Camaro or Firebird in this thread.

Please include your name and a short paragraph describing the mods done to the car and/or a short story about the car as well.

If this is not posted in this thread by the time voting begins, your car will not be included in the vote.

At the last week of the month we will post a poll that will last for one week (7 days) and the winner will get to spend the following month showcased on the home page of the site. Past winners will not be eligible to win again for 12 months.

All submitted pictures should be a minimum size of 640 x 480, as this is the size of the image that will be posted on the home page. If you aren't sure of the size, post it up the largest image you have (within reason).

Lets get those submissions in!

Rob Howard
2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 M6

I bought the car from a dealership that I work at for $13,500 with 14,500 miles. She has no T-Tops, manual door locks, manual windows. Doesn't even have a trunk release button. I bought her because my white 95 Z was a piece of junk. Broke every time I drove it. Plus it was a good deal. I've always wanted a Camaro, and now I have the one of my dreams! It's so nice to be able to pull in somewhere and have people come over and ask what's done and how good the car looks.

Robert Amarena
1985 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am

I purchased this car from a private owner for $9,500 with 24,00 miles in May of 1988. Options include T-Tops, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, and Performance Sound AC Delco Stereo System. I've always liked the Trans Am's and saved all my money to buy her. Used to be my everyday car till about 10 years ago. Original Engine Block cracked at 117,000, so I replaced it with the same 305 H Engine. Since I have replace most parts on the car, decided to keep it and return back to 95% stock with very few modifications. I have been Restoring/Fixing it since to get to where it is now. I get alot of looks when driving down the road. Alot of people are amazed that it’s a 1985 model year.

Modifications:
GM Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner (From H.O. Engine)
K&N Air Filter
New GM Carburetor reworked for Performance
Performance Exhaust- Looks Stock
Amsoil Synthetic Oil- Engine & Differential
Evan's Waterless Coolant

My names Alex Quiles and I'm from Northern NJ and this is my 1995 Z28 Camaro. This car has come a long way in the 4 years that I have owned it. I purchased it completely bone stock in the fall of 2004 in Long Island. The car was in excellent condition when I purchased it, and to this day I try my best to keep it that way. I daily drove the car until the summer of 2006 when it blew a head gasket and my journey into modified motors began. The car was taken in by Josh @ JS Performance and thorough worked on. It now sports a forged 355 heads & cam motor with a complete tubular suspension all around. My plans for this car was something that could out preform all around, holding its own in the straight line, hanging through the turns of a mountain road or road racing event, or dropping jaws cruising down the avenue. So far I think I've accomplished that goal and then some.

Only a few more hours to get your entry in.....I'm creating the poll around 11:30pm tonight.

BurninrubberGT - we can't accept your entry since the Firebird doesn't belong to you.
