MVC will fail you for this?

On top of all of the above I can't imagine that it is very safe for you to be driving around like this. My old 78Z had rims with incorrect backspacing (I bought the car with the rims already on there) and it looked pretty similar to your car with a really wide rear track. The problem is when you hit a bump and the quarter comes down on the tire- you can carve up your sidewalls and damage your quarters.

even with stock suspension? that would have to be a huge bump right? im planning to switch the rims out though but im just wondering

Well, it depends on how tall your tire is.

height of the tire is 50..when i drive it and hit bumps ive never feel it hit the quater panel, ill be on the look out for it..but once i get the cash i will definately find new rims
